Newcastle Knights prop Zane Tetevano has had his contract immediately terminated by the Newcastle Knights.
It comes as he was convicted and fined $440 today, after pleading guilty to malicious damage in Belmont local court.
Last month, the 23-year-old punched the windscreen of a taxi in Merewether.
The club attributed the termination to “disciplinary reasons”, and says they will “provide the appropriate duty of care for Tetevano as he transitions out of the Club”.
