In the NBN state league the Magic beat Valentine Phoenix, while Hamilton hammered Lake Macquarie.
The visitors got off to a great start, with Andre Gumprecht’s deflected shot giving Lake Macquarie a one nil half time lead.
The goals flowed after the break, as a goal line clearance found Olympic’s John Majurovski, who brought the teams level.
Minutes later a free kick somehow got through to the back post, where Dave Hodgson was waiting to give Hamilton its first lead.
Hodgson was again involved as he combined with Majurovski, who tapped in the second of his four goals.
