Lennox Head surfer Owen Wright finished equal 5th at the Rip Curl Pro, after getting knocked out by Joel Parkinson in the quarter finals.
Wright opened with two solid six point rides, but couldn’t match both of Parkinson’s scores, which included an 8 point eight three.
