It was a trip down memory lane for boating enthusiasts at Lake Macquarie today.
The annual Classic Boatfest at Toronto had no problem drawing a crowd.
Old boats which had been painstakingly restored were on show for all to see.
And many eyes were on the “Soap Boat”.
Built in 1908, it was used to carry staff from the Palmolive factory at Balmain into the city.
And for those with a tendency towards D-I-Y, there was the opportunity to build their own boat.
