Queenslander Darren Kane has taken out the East Coast National at the Lismore Speedway at the weekend after leading the race from start to finish.
The two-time national super sedan champion turned on the heat and lapped all but a few cars over the 50 laps, eventually claiming the chequered flag three quarters of a lap in front of another Australian champion, Jamie McHugh.
In another incredible feat, the race ran flag to flag without incident, which is almost unheard of in speedway.
