DOCTOR STANDS TRIAL OVER SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS

A Northern Rivers doctor is standing trial accused of having sexual intercourse with a patient without her consent.

The doctor has pleaded not guilty to the allegations, denying any assault ever took place.
