MAN REFUSED BAIL OVER ALLEGED STABBING RAMPAGE IN GOONELLABAH

A man is spending his second night behind bars, following an alleged stabbing rampage at a Goonellabah home.

Police say the 30-year-old knifed three males in the back at around 2:30pm yesterday.

The victims were taken by ambulance to the Base Hospital in a stable condition.

The accused has been charged with eight offences, and was refused bail at Lismore Local Court today.

He’ll face a magistrate again next Wednesday.
