KNIGHTS DRAMA CONTINUES

The war of words has continued this morning between Nathan Tinkler and Knights chairman Rob Tew, after a deal to buy the club fell through.
Tew attacked Tinkler in a radio interview, describing his bid to the buy the Knights as an example of his lack of understanding of how the rugby league world works.
He also alleged it was Tinkler who made a ‘behind the scenes’ offer to get Kade Snowden to the club, despite salary cap restrictions.
Meanwhile, Lambton man, Mark York, is continuing his campaign to overthrow the board.
The long-term season ticket holder says he’s gathering 100 member signatures to force an extraordinary meeting.
Will the scheduled meeting by the Knights set down for next Monday be of any use? It is advertised as an “information” night. Does this mean that we will be given information only and not allowed to make any comments? Will anybody from the Tinkler Group be there to give the information from the other side?
I thought the Directiors of The Newcastle Knights were elected to find the best outcome for the knights or had they organized this other deal and were never going to talk to Nathan Tinkler. Can Nathan Tinkler also explain if his offer was all smoke and mirrors or a genuine attempt to make the Knights more financial. How much does it cost to run the Knights how far wiil the quoted amot of 6-10 Million over 4 years improve things for the knights. Note I am a St George supporter who thinks that the directors have let the knights down. Can Jodi MCKay please keep quiet
and stick to politics as she has a distinct dislike for the current directors of the knights.
The members need to go with the best option not just a mates conglomeration
