After a few bad weeks of boating attacks on black swans, there was a feelgood story on Lake Macquarie today.
Carers released two rehabiliated sick swans, handed to them by community members.
During that time, the swans fell in love, and were today inseparable on the water.
“Well swans mate for life it’s a lifetime partnership. So when a swan is lost or dies like the one that was here a few weeks ago. It’s quite sad, because the remaining one is left partnerless.”
