The Tweed Shire Council has voted to adopt a Kingscliff community masterplan aimed at directing the future of the town.
The plan includes restoration works along the beachfront and a controversial proposal to reduce the size of the caravan park. Mayor Kevin Skinner says the concepts were developed based on community feedback.
An underground carpark will also be considered under the plan.
