FORCE ASKED TO SOLVE DETECTIVE SHORTFALL

Lake Macquarie detectives are threatening strike action for the second time in five years.

They’ll meet with the state’s acting Police Commissioner on Monday, amid claims serious cases are on hold, because of a lack of staff.
