POSSIBLE LEGAL CHALLENGE BY KENSINGTON CLUB OWNERS
The owners of the proposed Kensington nightclub are heading to the Supreme Court, after having their second application for a liquor licence rejected.
They’re now pursuing further legal avenues to obtain a licence, saying it agreed to 23 stringent conditions and responded to all issues raised by concerned parties.
The Hunter Street venue is expected to be used in the interim, possibly as a restaurant, with its doors to open in March.
$4-million has already been spent fitting out the former theatre.
