AUSSIE WOMEN STAY COOL AT DIVISION 3 ICE HOCKEY WORLD TITLES

The Australian women’s ice hockey team has made it two from two at the division three world championships, beating Slovenia 7-4.

The Aussies led at every break, with South Australia’s Natasha Farrier again proving to be the destroyer for the home side, grabbing a goal in each period.

Australia’s third game is against Hungary at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium later tonight.

  1. congrats to the Dutch, But you only got us by the skin of your teeth, score was 2-2 then went into overtime, then a penalty shootout. Wasnt a walk over, like you thought it would be. Us Aussies gave you a run for your money. Got to be Happy with our performance against a team who has played in div 2 for long time. WELL DONE U AUSSIE GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!
