NIMBIN MAN CHARGED OVER SERVICE STATION ROBBERY

A 41 year old man has faced court, charged with robbing a Lismore petrol station overnight.

Police allege Christopher Mason broke into the Leycester street BP early this morning – stealing cigarettes and cash before fleeing.

Officers claim they later recovered the goods, during a search of his car at Nimbin around 2:30 this morning.

Mason faced Lismore Local Court today, where he didn’t apply for bail and his matter was adjourned until next week.
