Lennox Head lawyer Luke Harrison has placed second in the Hell of the West triathlon at Goondiwindi.
Seen here training at Ballina, Luke finished the 2 kilometre swim, 80 kilometre cycle and 20 kilometre run in 3 hours, 57 minutes and 41 seconds.
He was about four minutes behind the overall winner – Mooloolaba’s Richard Thompson.
It comes after a successful campaign at the Hawaii Ironman World Championships late last year, where he placed fourth in his division.
