Futsal will kick off in Armidale this weekend, before moving to a new sporting complex in Tamworth.
Just to update sport at NBN. Futsal kicked off in the zone 4 years ago in Gunnedah at the PCYC and has been running 2 junior and a senior comp there with around 120 registered players. We have had players selected for at regional, state, and national level. One player has just returned from a tour to Brazil. School Futsal has also progressed with Gunnedah high sending a team to regionals and two players selected for school nationals. While we are a quiet club and do not publise ourselves to the news we have been the only futsal in the zone up until Tamworth and Armidale commenced their competitions this week.
