Two eight-year-old girls are recovering after being pinned by a runaway vehicle in the driveway of a home in Coffs Harbour.
The girls were playing at a Redwood Street home late yesterday when another child accidently knocked the car out of gear allowing it to roll forward.
The girls suffered multiple leg and abdominal injuries and were stabilised by paramedics before being transported to Coffs Harbour Hospital.
Police have used the incident to remind parents not to allow their children to play in cars.
Both girls are in a stable condition.
