Around 60 Coffs Harbour community and mental health nurses today staged a roadside protest to highlight their call for better nurse to patient ratios.
The nurses say a recent agreement reached with the State Government excluded community and mental health from receiving the same benefits as hospital nurses.
” They have completely omitted community and community mental health nurses who are the backbone of the health system. They look after our people in the community who can’t look after themselves.”
