Amy Nurthen has capped an outstanding season in the Ironwoman Series by taking out the Rookie of The Year Award, for competitors under the age of 21.
The Terrigal lifesaver finished 10th in yesterday’s final race at Noosa.
Nurthen will now compete for the Central Coast against New South Wales Country and New Zealand’s Northern Region in the Trans-Tasman series at North Avoca and MacMasters Beach.
