MEN ALLEGEDLY THREATEN WOMAN WITH SCISSORS, THEN LEAD POLICE ON CHASE

Richmond Police are looking for one of two men allegedly involved in an aggravated break and enter in Whiporie yesterday morning.
Police claim the pair broke into a Bangawalbin-Whiporie road home, and threatened a 66-year-old woman with scissors, before stealing jewellery, a flat screen television and cash.
They also allegedly drove off with her Hyundai Getz and were involved in three police pursuits.
“The speeds got quite excessive and as a result the police terminated the pursuit because of the road conditions and speed.”
The car was later found in Tabulam, while a burnt out stolen Ford Falcon was also found north of Whiporie.
A 17 year old male was arrested at Tabulam late yesterday and charged with Sky’s Law and other offences.
