To raise money for not for profit organisation ‘Little Wings’, the ‘Guardian Angels’ bikers took off on their annual ‘Ride to Ridge’ this morning.
The group decided to support the cause last year, when a Manilla family desperately needed the help of ‘Little Wings’, a flight service that transports sick kids in regional areas to larger city hospitals.
“Last year we raised $5,000 for Little Wings, $4,600 for Pink Ribbon and hopefully this year we’ll do the same.”
The club, which has more than 60 members, will host an auction and raffle at Lightning Ridge tonight.
