HUNDREDS OF SWIMMERS TREATED FOR BLUE BOTTLE STINGS

More than 200 swimmers have needed treatment after waves of blue bottles hit the beaches on the Gold Coast this morning.

Experienced surf life savers say they’ve never seen such numbers.
