With men in Australia more likely to commit suicide than women, a charity concert to raise money for prevention and support is being held in Coffs Harbour next week.
‘Under the Stars’ will feature world-renowned pianist and living legend David Helfgott at the yacht club on Wednesday night.
The 63-year-old started playing the piano when he was just five years old, and in 1996 the movie Shine was made about his life.
All proceeds from the three hour concert will go to men’s mental health charities and the Coffs Harbour Men’s Shed.
