A baby boy continues to recover in a Newcastle hospital, after his twin brother died on Monday.
The pair were admitted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
The surviving baby is now out of intensive care and listed as stable.
Police are awaiting the results of a autopsy to determine the cause of his brother’s death.
The twins’ Indian parents have been questioned by officers, and a crime scene set up at their Cardiff home.
