The Boxing Day Bowraville races were cancelled today, after the sodden track was deemed too dangerous.
The Nambucca River Hockey Club will now focus on its next event on January 15.
Meanwhile, further north wet weather has forced the cancellation of tomorrow night’s Maclean Rodeo.
It’s only the second time it hasn’t gone ahead in 28 years.
