Three new child sexual assault charges have been laid against former Hunter Catholic priest, Dennis Corrigan.
The 68-year-old appeared before Newcastle Local Court this morning and is now facing 17 charges.
They relate to the alleged assault of two boys, aged 12 and 15, at Windale in December, 1987.
Corrigan is due back in court on the 9th of February.
Bail was continued, and he’s yet to enter a plea.
