Two people have escaped a jail sentence for now after police allegedly seized around 240 cannabis plants from a hydroponic setup in a Nimbin property last month.
37-year-old Ashley Scott Martin and 40-year-old Darlene Holmes have been placed into a rehabilitation program.
But friends and family weren’t happy with the attention today.
” I’ll break your camera, don’t touch the camera please, don’t touch the camera”
The pair has been charged with cultivation and supply of cannabis.
They’ll front court again next month.
