The Newcastle Jets have confirmed the signing of Young Socceroos striker, Chris Payne, to a two-year deal, starting next season.
Meanwhile there’s been just one change to the side which beat the Fury on Saturday, for tonight’s clash with the Heart in Melbourne.
Tarek Elrich was ruled out late this afternoon, with Italian Marcello Fiorentini moving onto the bench.
Ben Kantarovski will take Elrich’s place in the starting line up.
Former Newcastle striker Jason Hoffman has earned a recall to the Heart squad, while John Aloisi has been rested.
