A 29 year-old cyclist suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car at Long Jetty this morning.
The man was on Archbold Road just after 10:30 when the incident occurred.
Members of the public assisted him until paramedics arrived.
He was taken to Gosford Hospital with hip pain and a possible fracture to his right leg.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
