The East Coast Surf series wrapped up at Dixon Park Beach today and the final day was dominated by Sydney surf life savers.
Swansea Belmont teenager Daniel Booth scorched off the beach in the under 19s ski race, but as it can happen luck deserted him the race for home and he was pipped on the finish line.
The Ironman final was a family affair, with Cronulla’s Chris Allum beating home his brother Hayden for that title.
Northcliffe’s Kristyl Smith did it much more comfortably in the Ironwoman final.
