There’s been little fallout from last night’s Newcastle Council meeting despite calls from some councillors for the Lord Mayor to stand down.
A motion to investigate comments made by John Tate about senior managers was defeated.
Councillors did agree to start the search for a new General Manager, following the recent resignation of Lyndy Hyam.
