Keeping Australia beautiful is the aim of a number of workshops on the north coast this week.
The Clean Beaches Program made its way to Coffs Harbour today after starting in Sydney a fortnight ago.
It’s about bringing community members, councils and Landcare groups together, to discuss better ways of addressing problems such as rubbish, dog poo and discarded fishing materials.
Just last month Park Beach earned the dubious title of being the dirtiest beach in Coffs Harbour.
The program concludes tomorrow with a workshop at the Byron Bay community centre.
