Colleagues and friends of the region’s top cop, Superintendent Bruce Lyons, are gathering this evening to bid him farewell.
Supt Lyons is heading west next month to take up his new post as New England local area commander.
‘Bluey’, as he’s affectionately known, has been in charge of Richmond for six years and officers say he will be sorely missed.
