COULD NEWCASTLE’S “OTHER” FIGS BE UNSAFE
As the fate of Newcastle’s Laman Street figs hangs in the balance, questions are being raised about the city’s other mature fig trees.
Some fear those in other neighbourhoods could face the chop as well.

Well said by Mr Mackenzie and Cr Osborne. What they don’t say is that this is just the hardest street to remove figs from. Once the Laman Street figs go, they’ll all go. Then we can have tiny little trees everywhere.
when is the pull test going to be carried out? I wonder if NCC will try and wriggle out of the test. after all it could prove the Laman st Trees are safe?
