A celebratory presentation and tour of the Mardi-Mangrove Link Project has been held to mark the halfway point of construction.
Around 10 of the 21 kilometres of water pipes have now been laid while the two new pump stations and related infrastructure is more than 50 per cent complete.
Despite recent rain the project is still on track to be finished next year.
