Construction is underway on a new road connecting Honeysuckle Drive and Hunter Street at Worth Place.
The link is designed to assist traffic flow in the city centre, during the construction and operation of the light rail network.
“We know that we are going to cause some disruption when we build light rail this is just one of those things that can take pressure off, keep the cars moving through the city”
The road should be open early next week.
