Why are there parking meters on Nelson Bay breakwall ? Its a rip off . Who’s hair brain idear was that ? Let me gess. Port Stevens council ?
Their only good for 4 hours then you have to leave your fishing spot to give them more money for the next 4 hours. Bad luck if your fishing out on the end of the wall and have to leave your gear to feed these bloody things, because i may want to fish all day. Such greed is unbelievable. Signed want be back.

Fat as Butter failed miserably in their lack of support to the Newcastle community. By blocking access to our beaches they showed total disregard to the wider community. Keep the event but move it to a more appropriate location, like Newcastle showground with easy access to rail, or the Knights Stadium with plenty of parking.
Extremely dissapointed with the VIP tix at FAB this year not only had they gone up in price but there was only 8 toliets in total for both guys and girls and the were clogged up by 4pm with no fix offered!! The last time I tried to used them (around 7pm) they were absolutley fithly with 3 of the 4 womens toliets overflowing with urine all over the floor and the 4th one almost full. The men’s were not much better either
It was discusting!!!!
The only plus of the VIP was the location with great seat for the main stage but would have to say do not waste your money on these tix!!!
I had a stall at FAB. It was my first time to Newcastle. I must say I was impressed.
You have to expect a few idiots in a crowd of 15,000. I sure the average age was no more than 19. So to get that many young adults to behave, with that much excitement is a credit to the whole area. Yeh, the toilets were filth. I don’t see how or why the contracters just dump them and pick them up at the end of the event.
They definately need to be a rotating cleaning roster. Hard work, cummon. It is always a big let down at every festival. All in all. Thanks for a great day. I enjoyed the experience. HippieDude
I hope for the 2011 event you have special event buses for the crowd, the drunken idiots filling the buses in 2010 were a hinderance to the public and our bus drivers.
Re above-and that was on THE WAY to the event-11am in the morning
