The Murray Darling Basin authority rolled into Moree today for the North West’s second consultation on the basin guide.
More than 1000 people turned out to the meeting refusing to back down over water cuts that could see the Gwydir region loose up to 1500 jobs.
Stakeholders want the authority to tear up the guide and start again.
