Journalists from The Newcastle Herald stopped work this afternoon to discuss Fairfax plans to move production jobs to New Zealand.
It comes after the media giant yesterday confirmed it will move 41 production jobs to New Zealand.
The Media Alliance says the meeting is being held to answer questions and update staff on the latest developments.
It will take place behind closed doors, and it’s not clear when staff will return to work.
