There were kilts as far as the eye could see at Toukley today, for the 14th annual Gathering of the Clans Festival.
No surprises tartan was the fashion of choice for many with plenty of stalls available for those ready to update the wardrobe.
There was traditional dance – and yes, there were bagpipes….and plenty of them.
And this little Scot proved you’re never too young to pop on a kilt and fire up the bagpipes for some foot stomping fun.
What a great day out at the highland gathering. The little 20 month old is my great nephew Aaron Swan marching and playing his pipes.
You will see him again on the 18th September at our Celtic festival at Tomaree Sports Complex Nelson Bay. Come and have a great family day out.
