  1. Hi, my heart goes out to Jai Morcoms family and friends.

What is happening in our society when ‘the care factor’ is lost?

I recently was told by a local ‘labour hire company’ “Bullying is rampant in the Lismore/Ballina/Byron area and that i better get use to it”

What is happening in our Childcare Centres, Workplaces, and Schools when ‘no one will – speak up? Gosh, don’t you get it – if you speak up someone else may be feeling as low as you and there is – power in numbers telling the truth (factually based). Remember this – the pain of your ‘discomfort is in the dis-ease of what you are feeling’. Are you angry? Do you know something is NOT right in your group of your school friends or work collegues? Talk to someone, a Counsellor or a Teacher, Work Cover or your Work place Union. Check out your how ‘rational your thoughts are and even explore ‘what fears you have’. Surely this is reasonable, to find a way out of being ‘stuck and feeling powerless’. Empower yourself out of your ‘dis-ease’. Remember everyone has = choices in life.

Take care of yourself – my point ‘chronic stress’ whether it be by ‘your social group stresses (Work place/School friends/group) accepting you into the group or NOT and your performance at Work and/or School’ are the main social status indicators to determine whether we are ‘accepted or NOT’. Unfortunately, many School groups or Work Groups have: high group demands, poor leaders, or too many dominance contests with in the group.

Chronic stress is the main cause of depression. Chronic stress in children and adults in the majority of cases may be about ‘the level of threat to social status and lack of control or consultation in the group or in the Work place’. Remember: Bullies rule when they think they ‘have the power’ – stick to the facts and know your rights and ‘who you can have as positive support people’. (Counsellor, Teacher, Work Cover person, Your Work place Union etc.)

Crikey! How in the hell is the youth of this region suppose to navigate school and / or employment whilst at school if this is ‘culture of tolerance to give in to ‘bullies’ and the young being exposed to ‘bullying behaviour thus learning the actions’ – being cultivated from a young age.’

    Kind regards,
    Say no to the ‘bully’

Remember ‘you have a choice’ to participate as = one of the bullies group or to ‘seek other support people’. (talk to a counsellor, teacher, or Work Cover, or Your Union person.)
