Tonight the Hunter will get to see a movie that was shot in the region, and set to be shown around the world.
Tomorrow When The War Began will premiere at the Greater Union cinemas in Newcastle.
The $20-million feature was filmed in Raymond Terrace, Dungog and Luskintyre.
“I used to come to the Hunter Valley as a child a lot we had a little cabin so when I read the books, the Hunter Valley is what I pictured.”
And there are interim plans for two more instalments.
“We’re super keen to come back and film more but as I said it’s all up to the audience now.”
