A young P-plate driver managed to walk away with barely a scratch after losing control of her car near North Lismore and becaming entangled in a fence this morning.
A fence paling pierced the windscreen, stopping just centimetres from her head.
The 17-year-old from East Lismore managed to drag herself out through the driver’s window and was taken to hospital for observation.
