It was a day of celebration and remembrance in Taree, as the Manning-Great Lakes marked Retired Police Day.
Serving officers joined in a presentation at St Mary’s Hall, to recognise the contributions of past members of the force.
The ceremony also included a special demonstration by drug detection dog, Gilby.
Retired Police Day was introduced last year to mark the 150th anniversary of the New South Wales Police.
