TWO INJURED IN PACIFIC HIGHWAY ACCIDENT

Two men are in Coffs Harbour hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a two-car collision on the Pacific Highway at 9.30 this morning.

One of the vehicles pulled out onto the highway at Sapphire, into the path of a southbound station wagon.

The driver of the station wagon sustained chest and neck injuries.

The driver of a sedan was trapped for around 30 minutes and sustained a broken ankle.

The accident caused extensive delays on the Pacific Highway.
