NEW EQUIPMENT MAKING BEACH ACCESS EASIER

People living with disabilities in Coffs Harbour, now have access to equipment and facilities to make access to the beach easier.

At the Jetty Foreshore, there’s now a child’s beach wheelchair, an adult sized chair and a 50-metre Mobi Mat, so people can directly access the water.

There are also lifeguards now stationed at the beach.

The mat will remain at the beach until the end of February.
