Flood mitigation works are continuing in Coffs Harbour with dredging work now underway in Coffs Creek.
The creek, near Bray Street, which experienced extensive flooding last year, is being cleared of debris to improve water flow.
Dozens of homes in the area were flooded last March when 300 millimetres of rain fell in the city in just three hours.
A number of creeks throughout the city have now had thousands of tonnes of rubbish removed as part of a $12-million flood mitigation program.
