Wet weather prevented FIFA officials from taking a look at what Newcastle has to offer, as part of Australia’s bid for the 2022 football World Cup.
But the country’s bid team has otherwise done all it can, and today tried to soften the officials with some Aussie wildlife.
The delegation managed to see nine host cities Football Australia has proposed for the world’s biggest sporting event.
