This is great to see and quite obviously very much needed. It is not just good to see Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine get a “good” wrap, but also the warnings about potential interactions. It was also very rewarding to have an American compliment Australian Naturopaths on their educational level. We have been lacking behind our American counterparts for some time in that regard. In Australia we STILL do not have a requirement for Naturopaths to hold an appropriate University degree. Those that do, do so because they realise the absolute necessity when dealing with peoples’ complex health issues. I am proud to say that I too have completed this degree and look forward to participating in further education. Come on Australia, get with the times and give us Naturopaths the recognition we deserve.
