SURF LIFE SAVERS TO RECEIVE TECH GRANT

Surf Life Saving Clubs across the state are set to receive a funding boost ahead of next season.
The state government has allocated $9-million to help update equipment and improve rescue capabilities.
All clubs in New South Wales will receive tablets to ensure timely incident reports and responses are recorded through the Patrol App.
“The quicker they can get it out then the community can know if there is an incident, or the hospital or paramedics that there is an incident. It’s really important we have that equipment for them,”
said Member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead.
Funding is also available for jet ski’s, radios, first aid kits and defibrillators.
